Painting / Mixed Media
Painting is the foundation of my work. Early on, I developed my own studio practice, shaped by close exchange with a local artist.
My work is collage-driven mixed media, combining materials such as acrylic, oil, wood, and experimental surfaces. I focus on texture, materiality, and light—layering and fragmenting surfaces to create depth and presence.
The themes move between personal, formal, and sometimes political ideas, with color, structure, and symbolism evolving intuitively.
After focusing on film and lighting, I am now returning to painting as a space for experimental, material-based work.
